Christian Brewer is a well known jazz alto saxophonist /composer and educator on the the london jazz scene . He has been a leading voice on the alto saxophone for over 15 years , and has performed at many of the top clubs and festivals both at home and abroad. He has played and performed with some of leading figures in European jazz and beyond including Leon greening, Andrea Pozza(Italy),Chano Dominguez(Spain), Peter king, Bob Martin(USA), Steve Brown, Damon Brown, Jim Mullen, Carl Orr, Renato D'aiello(Italy), Dave Schnitter(USA),Jorge Pardo, Francesco Pose,(Spain) Yutaka Shiina(Japan), Sebastian Rochford, Tom Farmer, Shane Forbes, Steve fishwick ,Stan Sulzmann,Dick de Graaf, Jos Matchel(Holland),Allesandra Minetto ,Joe Cohn (USA)...amongst many. His cd's have been very well recieved by the critics and audiences alike , and in 2004 `Introducing Christian Brewer' came second in the International Jazz Competition of granada (spain ).His cd, Seesaw, was runner -up in 2005 recieving a special mention. He has perfromed all over Europe including Ronnies Scotts (london ), The Hot club (Lisbon), The Jamboree (Barcelona), Cafe Central, Clamores, Wiskey Jazz (Madrid), The New morning (Paris), Sevilla , Barcelona , Malaga (Spain ), Ceuta (North Africa), Jazz Festivals, Macau Jazz Festiva(China), Legeuilla Jazz Festival, Ancona Jazz Festival (Italy) Scarborough, Cleethorpes, Swanage Jazz Festivals (uk) amongst others.He two cd's as a band leader were runners up in International Jazz Competition in Malaga in He has also performed with pop artists including Paul Weller, Push , Seal, Rico Rodriguez(Ska ), Otis Grand(blues)., The Ragga Twins(hip-hop)...,Beehut ..
